NATIONAL RECONCILIATION ORDINANCE

NRO was introduced by previous president general Pervez Musharraf at 5 October 2007. The implementing this ordinance to removed the all cases like murder, money laundering, and curption. From this ordinance many politicians, bureaucrats and others was take huge benefits. Musharraf's main purpose of introduced this ordinance to make better politics affairs with Benazir Bhutto. And also abolished cases from the Benazir and her husband. And give them nro which was made helpful for Benazir to come Pakistan.

The concept of nro was come from South Africa’s government. In 2009 the advice of Prime Minister Yusuf raza gillani a list was broadcasted which consist 8041 peoples those taken nro and Prime Minister Yusuf raza gillani and president Asif Ali zardari was also part of that list. And government decides to give the constitutional importance to nro but that times oppositions parties like (pmln) and others rejected the ordinance. And Supreme Court also gave the remarks against this ordinance and says it is against the national interests.

Although nro can’t keep the actual importance. And this time the opposition party (pmln) leaders are victimized the somehow cases, and current government of Pakistan are not agree to give them NRO.
